Medical Marijuana to Ease the Pain

By the age of two, Charlotte Figi was diagnosed with an untreatable form of epilepsy. To combat this, she had tried every medication they could to cure her, several of which were dangerous on their own. Having endured around 50 seizures a night – some so serious they were nearly fatal – the child was able to get a medical marijuana card in order to receive cannabidiol (CBD) oil in Colorado. Once she began taking the high CBD oil, her parents reported that her seizures almost immediately stopped.

My dad sent me a photo of our old dog, Bonzo, he found while going through boxes of old pictures. It was a later picture of him, I could tell by how fat he was. Under-represented minorities (URM) have been a staple part of both the New York State population as well as the SUNY population.

URM usually takes up almost half of the greater population of New York State, but when looking at the population of people being enrolled in universities over the past decade their numbers have been in the lower percentages.

Joy Rich started working construction jobs with her father from a young age. Enjoying the fact that she was able to get dirty and there would be a different job every day was always much more appealing than doing the same thing every day. Being both younger, 19, and a woman in a traditionally male-dominated profession has created its own obstacles, but Rich has found her way of dominating in her own world.
